FAQs

I’ve texted – what happens next?

An FSL team member reviews your message.
They may follow up through the platform if more information is needed.
Depending on the issue, your message may be shared with the appropriate Council accountability officer(s) or campus department to address it.

I want to report a concern – what do you need to know?

Ultimately, the more information we have, the better. Include as much detail as possible. At minimum:

  • What happened
  • Who was involved (individual or organization)
  • When and where it took place

Can I submit photos and videos?

Yes – you can text in photos and videos to support the information you’ve submitted.

Is it really anonymous?

Yes, RealResponse makes communication anonymous by using secure, end-to-end encrypted platforms to transmit user messages, such as text messages or messages through integrated apps like WhatsApp, while masking the user’s actual phone number and other identifying data from administrators. The system allows for real-time, two-way conversations without revealing the user’s identity, ensuring that people feel safe and empowered to report concerns or provide feedback on sensitive issues.

What information can I submit to FSL Confidential?

This is a resource for you – you can text in anything you’d like. FSL Confidential is intended to be an anonymous resource to get support or report information.

Why do we have FSL Confidential?

We created FSL Confidential to give students a direct, anonymous way to communicate with our office. Many students are hesitant to bring forward questions or concerns in person because of fear of judgment, worry about confidentiality, or uncertainty about the process. Additionally, it allows us to respond and ask follow-up questions to provide more accurate and thorough information.
